The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cold tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but McLeod paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Cold closes the distance and clinches up with McLeod, looking for a takedown. Cold pushes McLeod against the cage but McLeod circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Cold feints and as McLeod raises his hands in defense, Cold changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Cold has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of McLeod is proving hard to escape from.
Cold won't allow McLeod to sweep him here.
Cold wants to control from the top but McLeod keeps moving.

McLeod had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Cold defends it easily.
Cold tries to stand but McLeod is controlling from the bottom.
Cold knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McLeod on the ground.
McLeod tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Cold pushes down on McLeod's leg and manages to get into half guard.
