Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sam Hades (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyov Kirijenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hades might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Bon Jovi: Wanted Dead Or Alive. The key to victory for Sam Hades has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kirijenko throws a jab when Hades was well out of range.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Kirijenko throws a hook but Hades blocks it.
Kirijenko swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hades throws a low kick but Kirijenko avoids it.
Hades misses with a straight right.
Sam Hades seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kirijenko throws a body punch but Hades moves out of range.
Hades lands with a cross.
Kirijenko takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Kirijenko looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Kirijenko misses with a low kick.
Hades throws a shot from downtown. Kirijenko moves away and avoids it.
Hades throws a hook but Kirijenko avoids it easily.
Hades throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Kirijenko throws a hook to the side of Hades's head but Hades sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Hades throws a predictable looking body shot
and Kirijenko counters with a straight right hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kirijenko shoots in and gets a takedown into Hades's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hades has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hades is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Hades is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Kirijenko frees his head nicely. Oh but Hades has switched to an armbar! Kirijenko is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
