Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Tompkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrei Chikatilo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tompkins's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Dying Fetus - One Shot, One Kill. Chikatilo comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Black Sunshine kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tompkins throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Tompkins connects with a nice looking jab.
Chikatilo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tompkins but Tompkins pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Chikatilo misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tompkins.

A jab-cross combination lands for Chikatilo and sends Tompkins crashing to the mat! Chikatilo follows him down to the mat - Tompkins regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

It looks like Steve Tompkins has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tompkins wants to control but Chikatilo is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Oh Tompkins is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tompkins is trying to get back to full guard.

Chikatilo is working for a submission of some sort.

Tompkins is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Chikatilo pulls his head out easily.
Tompkins seems to have got his legs back now.
Chikatilo is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Tompkins is working to get back to half guard.
Chikatilo with shots to the head and body - Tompkins looks very uncomfortable down there.
Tompkins is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Chikatilo cracks Tompkins with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!

A relieved looking Andrei Chikatilo thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
