Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between LA twotwo star (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davis has chosen House of Pain - Jump Around as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Davis will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Davis misses with a series of wild punches.
Davis goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Davis takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Davis throws a body punch but star moves out of range.

No joy there for Davis, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

star fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Davis manages to avoid it.

Davis misses with a looping left.
Davis throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Davis slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Davis shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Davis is looking to take a break and control but star is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Davis is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, star manages to get to full guard.

Davis slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
star pushes a forearm under Davis's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Davis is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
