Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vitor Stoicovi!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stoicovi tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kiser manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Stoicovi tries for a takedown but Kiser circles away easily

so Kiser counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Kiser trying to control the position from guard on top but Stoicovi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Kiser looking to sit in guard and control but Stoicovi gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Kiser trying to keep a closed guard but Stoicovi is proving a slippery customer.

Kiser can't keep his opponent in guard - Stoicovi advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Stoicovi looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kiser with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Kiser knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Stoicovi on the ground.

Stoicovi escapes and gets back to his feet.

and Stoicovi counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Stoicovi content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Let's hope that Stoicovi has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Kiser is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Stoicovi is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Stoicovi working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Kiser is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Stoicovi has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Kiser taps out!
