Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Satoshi Kobayashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Pikachoo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Satoshi Kobayashi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Pikachoo!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pikachoo looks for a takedown but Kobayashi sprawls well.
Pikachoo tries to close the distance and clinch but Kobayashi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kobayashi stuffs the takedown.
Pikachoo's coach down at Den of Tears (22 coaches, $350 fee) was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Pikachoo's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Pikachoo shoots in and drives through. Kobayashi sprawls well.

Kobayashi drops back, looking for a kneebar! Pikachoo looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Pikachoo looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Pikachoo!

I would just about give that final round to David Pikachoo.
Well Pikachoo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
