The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Silva moves out of range as Irvin throws a body kick.
Irvin throws a head kick but Silva moves out of range.
Silva shoots in looking for a takedown. Irvin tries to sprawl out of it but Silva keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Irvin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
