PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eizan Kiwano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dameus Parks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kiwano comes to the cage accompanied by Prison Song. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Eizan Kiwano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dameus Parks!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kiwano tests Parks's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Parks closes the distance and clinches up with Kiwano, looking for a takedown. Parks pushes Kiwano against the cage but Kiwano circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Parks looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Kiwano!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Parks is trying to get an arm triangle but Kiwano is defending well.
Parks tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Parks lands a nice forearm strike.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Parks working his ground and pound in the gym.
Kiwano gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kiwano tries to roll over but Parks keeps him under control.

Kiwano is refusing to be controlled, as Parks sits in half guard.

Kiwano is trying to control but can't.
Kiwano keeps control of the position for the meantime.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Kiwano keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Parks shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kiwano is trying to defend but Parks finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Kiwano definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Kiwano moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Kiwano trying to keep a closed guard but Parks is proving a slippery customer.
Kiwano utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kiwano is on top in guard.
Kiwano forces his way into half guard.
Kiwano is keen to just control but Parks is a slippery customer.
Parks tries to kick Kiwano off but Kiwano keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Kiwano passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Parks!
Parks looks winded!

Kiwano is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Parks can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Parks is rocked!

Parks is still in real trouble! Can Kiwano finish him?
Oooooh, big shot lands for Kiwano! Parks is hurt baaadly! Kiwano is firing away with more strikes - Parks is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
