The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliver just misses with a punch to the body.
Oliver stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Oliver wants it to stay on the feet.
Oliver could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Roy misses with the combination.
Oliver gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Roy is trying to pull guard but Oliver turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Oliver gets control of Roy's arms and successfully pulls guard. Oliver will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Oliver looking for a guillotine here but Roy defends easily.
Roy wants to get up but he can't break Oliver's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Roy content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Oliver has locked up a guillotine! Oliver's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Roy is holding on here and Oliver must be using up a lot of energy. Roy has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Oliver gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
