Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jan Blachowicz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Murphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murphy has chosen The Warrior's Code as his entrance music. Tyler Murphy is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blachowicz misses with an attempted mid kick.
Murphy darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Murphy avoids the head kick by Blachowicz.
Blachowicz throws a wild body kick that Murphy sees coming a mile off.

Murphy shoots in and bounces Blachowicz off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Blachowicz is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Murphy bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Murphy postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Blachowicz looks a forlorn figure.

Blachowicz pushes Murphy away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Murphy gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Murphy is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Blachowicz's shoulder. That is not cool.

Murphy is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Blachowicz is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Murphy has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Blachowicz is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Murphy yanks on the arm and Blachowicz is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Murphy.
