The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson throws a nice looking combination but Hardy bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Anderson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Hardy has time to react.

It looks like Scott Hardy has been cut.
Hardy tries to clinch up.
Scott Hardy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Anderson has taken the fight to the clinch.

Anderson gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Hardy trying to get back to full guard but Anderson takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
