PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Damon Lancaster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ran Fenderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lancaster changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fenderson tries to avoid it but Lancaster manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fenderson to the ground. Fenderson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Fenderson has Lancaster up against the cage in a clinch.
Lancaster wants a takedown but no success here.

Fenderson has Lancaster pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Fenderson pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Lancaster tumbling to the mat - Fenderson dives into Lancaster's guard.
Lancaster will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Lancaster trying to keep a closed guard but Fenderson is proving a slippery customer.
Fenderson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lancaster. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Fenderson stands up over Lancaster, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lancaster is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Fenderson postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Lancaster has momentary wrist control but Fenderson slips an elbow through the middle.

Lancaster is rocked!
Fenderson loads up on a big left hand. Lancaster felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Fenderson looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Lancaster can't hide his disappointment, as Fenderson celebrates the victory.
