Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jonny Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Turko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jonny Perry looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Ron Honeybunn and Steve Erwin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turko shoots in but no luck this time.
Perry looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Turko swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Perry closes the distance and pushes Turko back into the cage.

Perry drags the fight down to the ground.
Turko controls from within his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Turko wants to pass the guard but Perry is keeping the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Turko stays in close to Perry 's body and controls the position.

Perry can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Turko controls the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Turko shoots in looking for a takedown. Perry tries to sprawl out of it but Turko keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Perry manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Turko shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Perry is trying to stand up here but Turko is controlling him well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Turko slows the pace down in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Turko moves into full mount! Perry won't be happy about that!
Perry wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Turko scoring with strikes but Perry is staying in there.
Turko can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Perry is looking to escape.

Turko looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Turko has control of Perry 's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Perry regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Perry is desperately trying to improve his position but Turko has a good base and remains in mount.

Turko cracks Perry with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Turko throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Perry has his hands clasped together but Turko breaks the hold and Perry is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Turko!

After the fight, Shane Turko was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
