Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mood has his takedown stuffed
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Mood with a lazy takedown attempt
and Hume counters with a slapping leg kick.
Good leg kick by Hume there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Hume moves into the clinch.
Our sources have told us that Mood has been working on his elbows in the gym.
Hume manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Mood takes a knee right on the jaw!

It looks like Wichael Mood has been cut.

Hume gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mood utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Mood has momentary wrist control but Hume slips an elbow through the middle.

Mood keeping full guard, as Hume tries to pass.
Hume postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Hume lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Oh Mood is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hume arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Mood's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Desmond Hume decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
