Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Danny Drago!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Michael Harrison!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Colin Fotheringham and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drago closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Drago wants a takedown but no success here.
Harrison lands a hook that snaps the head of Drago backwards.
Drago breaks the clinch.
Drago shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Harrison counters with a nice double leg into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Harrison wants to stand but Drago has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Harrison working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Harrison is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Drago has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Harrison is looking to defend but Drago has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Harrison! Drago pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Harrison taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Danny Drago!
