Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Derek Juarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Boucher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kevin Boucher will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Derek Juarez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kevin Boucher! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, William Peck and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boucher forces Juarez back against the cage and clinches. Juarez gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Boucher.
Juarez tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Boucher jumps guard and drags Juarez to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Juarez trying to control but Boucher is working from the bottom. Juarez slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boucher tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Juarez wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Juarez goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Boucher rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Juarez's guard! Nice work there by Boucher! Boucher trying to control but Juarez is working from the bottom. Boucher working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Juarez doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Boucher passes into half guard. Boucher is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Juarez defends it well. Boucher throwing shots but Juarez is blocking nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boucher is trying to control the action in half guard but Juarez is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Boucher seems to be looking for submissions.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Juarez slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Boucher controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Juarez really is a fat lump. Juarez is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boucher in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Boucher slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Kevin Boucher hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Juarez fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Boucher to the ground. Juarez is now in Boucher's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Boucher looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Juarez puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Boucher has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Juarez is on him like a limpet, forcing Boucher back against the cage. Juarez working hard to break the clinch. Boucher tries for a takedown but Juarez manages to get underhooks.
Juarez fails to pull guard.
Boucher has clasped his hands together around Juarez's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. This has been an exciting period of action! A lull in the action here as Boucher stalls from top position. Boucher tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Boucher wants to control but Juarez is keeping him busy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kevin Boucher dominated that round. The cut man is working on Derek Juarez's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Juarez tries to close the distance and clinch but Boucher swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Juarez tries a low kick but Boucher avoids it. Boucher shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Boucher is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Juarez has managed to free his arm - good work. Boucher stalling away here and it's allowed Juarez to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Juarez doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Boucher accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Boucher passes easily into side control. Nice work. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Boucher goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Juarez has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Boucher but great work by Juarez. Boucher regains half guard. Juarez not landing any meaningful shots this time. Boucher avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Juarez. Boucher wants to control but Juarez is keeping busy and won't allow it. We've been informed that Boucher has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boucher moves into full guard.
Boucher manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
BOOM! Boucher connects with a massive shot to the dome!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Juarez keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Juarez might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Boucher has control of Juarez's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Juarez regains control of the situation pretty easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boucher landing strikes, looking to finish! Boucher lands a couple of good shots and Juarez has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Kevin Boucher has got the better of the ground game so far. Boucher is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Juarez is defending well though. Boucher let's go of the attempt for now. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Boucher controlling the position well here. Juarez rolled but Boucher kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Boucher loading up with punches from the back mount - how long can Juarez hold on?
Juarez is trying to defend against the choke here but Boucher has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Boucher Tightens the hold and Juarez taps out furiously! Boucher displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Kevin Boucher!
