Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Yuki Yamamoto!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Anthony Taglia and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yamamoto chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Yamamoto doesn't manage to clinch there - Silva circles away.
Yamamoto fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Yamamoto lands a head kick!


It looks like Daniel Silva has been cut.
Yamamoto works Silva's body with a nice hook.
Silva on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Yamamoto. Yamamoto obviously looking to wear him down.
Yamamoto throws a low kick but it's checked well by Silva.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Yamamoto tries to close the distance and clinch up but Silva swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Yamamoto misses with a lunging right hand
and Silva counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Yamamoto avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Silva has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Yamamoto.
Yamamoto takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
A chopping leg kick lands by Yamamoto.
Yamamoto looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
The fighters circling - Silva throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Yamamoto avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Silva throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Yamamoto tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Yamamoto scores with a takedown into Silva's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Yamamoto slips nicely into half guard.

Yamamoto is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Silva is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Yuki Yamamoto!
