PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Lucan The Butler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Awa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think The Butler might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Game of Thrones. Ricardo Awa is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lucan The Butler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Ricardo Awa!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Ackerman and Steven Brown.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Awa takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

The Butler clips Awa with a right and a left that makes him do the chicken dance for a couple of seconds. He touched his left hand down on the canvas so the referee steps between the fighters to give Awa a standing 8 count before we can continue the bout.

Awa is rocked!
The Butler definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The Butler closes the distance and catches Awa with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! Awa is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and Awa is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! Awa is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! The Butler takes it!
