The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Archer looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Archer throwing strikes but missing.
Archer throws a strike but Slyker rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Archer controls Slyker momentarily but Slyker frees himself.
Slyker stands up over Archer, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Slyker got a little sloppy there for a moment and Archer has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Slyker has managed to get both his arms back between Archer's legs - danger averted.

Archer looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Slyker's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Slyker makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Archer trying to keep a closed guard but Slyker is proving a slippery customer.
Archer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Archer is looking for a triangle but Slyker pushes his legs off easily.

Archer is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Slyker has his hands clasped together but Archer extends and breaks Slyker's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Archer.
