Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between The Strangler Tessin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Hiller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hiller is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Cabbage - No meat for you. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hiller shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Hiller was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Hiller throws an elbow but Tessin slips to the side and avoids it well.
Hiller lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Hiller landing strikes.

Tessin manages to work his way to half guard, despite Hiller's best efforts.
Tessin is looking for a sweep. Hiller is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Hiller is nestled in close to Tessin, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Hiller really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tessin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Hiller lands with a punch from half guard.
Hiller looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Tessin with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Tessin wants to control but Hiller is keeping busy.

Tessin won't allow Hiller to pass to mount.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hiller in particular looking to stall.
Hiller is looking to take a break and control but Tessin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Hiller might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Tessin haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Hiller has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Tessin's face.

Tessin is bucking up trying to escape but Hiller cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
