Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sebastian Mayo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travis Mitchell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mitchell has chosen Darude - Sandstorm as his entrance music. Travis Mitchell is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayo closes the distance and clinches.
Mitchell can't break the clinch.
Mayo has Mitchell pushed against the cage.

Mitchell goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Mitchell lands with a nice body punch.
Mayo closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Mitchell is not content to let Mayo control the position.
Mitchell is pushing Mayo's head away, looking to escape. Mayo manages to hold on to the position though.

Mayo is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mitchell is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Mayo sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Mitchell is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Mayo tries to score with some ground and pound. Mitchell controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Mayo misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Mayo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Mayo throwing strikes but Mitchell manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Mayo tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Mitchell presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Mayo is bucking up trying to escape but Mitchell cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Mayo is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mitchell looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Mayo is wriggling around trying to escape.

Mayo tries to lock up and control but Mitchell gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Travis Mitchell will probably get the nod.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Mitchell lands the left hand.
Mitchell connects with a jab.
Mayo is rocked!
Mitchell looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Mitchell leaves Mayo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Oh Mayo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nice sprawl there from Mitchell as Mayo shoots in.
Mayo dodges the punch combination from Mitchell.
Mitchell drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Mayo's head, knocking him out cold! Mitchell is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Travis Mitchell!
After the fight, Travis Mitchell was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
