Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Theoran Fleury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Tripper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fleury comes to the cage accompanied by Drake - Pound Cake (featuring Jay Z). The crowd seem to be enjoying Tripper's choice of entrance music: Disturbed - Land Of Confusion. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fleury looks to land a right hand but Tripper moved out of range.
Tripper defending well as Fleury loads up on a big left hand.

Fleury closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Fleury lands in his opponent's guard.

Fleury stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tripper swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fleury connects with a couple of short punches.
Tripper utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Fleury postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Tripper looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fleury makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Fleury has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Tripper working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fleury doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fleury manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Tripper wants to get back to his feet but Fleury is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Tripper is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Tripper lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Fleury has Tripper pulled in close to control his posture.

Fleury is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Tripper can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Tripper takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Tripper tries to lock up and control but Fleury gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tripper might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Fleury haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
