The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - HASTINGS looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bader looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Excellent takedown into side control there by HASTINGS.
HASTINGS decides to stand back up. HASTINGS steps back and let's Bader get back to his feet.
HASTINGS gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Bader gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from HASTINGS.
HASTINGS tries to score a body lock takedown but Bader shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
HASTINGS wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Bader drops to a knee looking for a takedown but HASTINGS gets the underhooks and prevents it.
HASTINGS wants to break free but Bader has control.
Bader tries to pull guard but HASTINGS holds him up against the cage and eventually Bader drops back down to his feet.

ERIC HASTINGS has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Bader.
Bader tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
HASTINGS jumps guard and drags Bader to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Bader really doesn't want to stay on the ground with HASTINGS. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

HASTINGS looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
HASTINGS drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. HASTINGS seems to have locked his on tight now - Bader screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for HASTINGS, as he picks up the win!
