Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Atlas Kivi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Riel Dan Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kivi comes to the cage accompanied by Metallica - Ride the Lightning. Reyes comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Bad House Music ('98 Dub Mix) kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kivi throws a hook but Reyes avoids it easily.

It looks like Atlas Kivi has been cut.
Reyes throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Reyes lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Kivi throws a hook but Reyes avoids it easily.
Reyes shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kivi but Kivi pushes him off and we're back to square one.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Atlas Kivi will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Reyes's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Reyes looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kivi with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Reyes clobbers Kivi with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Kivi throws an overhand right that lands on Reyes's shoulder, as Reyes tries to avoid the shot.
