Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ric Landeverde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nunca Subestime O Palmeiras (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Landeverde might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Napalm & Erruption- In San Francisco. Nunca Subestime O Palmeiras told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ric Landeverde!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nunca Subestime O Palmeiras!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Landeverde changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Landeverde's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
O Palmeiras has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Landeverde is landing a low percentage of strikes.
O Palmeiras dives in for a single leg takedown but Landeverde sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
O Palmeiras keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Landeverde's efforts to push away.

Landeverde's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
O Palmeiras fails with the takedown
and Landeverde counters with a three punch combo that has O Palmeiras backing up. O Palmeiras nods at Landeverde to acknowledge the strikes.
Landeverde fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

It looks like Nunca Subestime O Palmeiras has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Landeverde tries to bum rush O Palmeiras with a series of wild strikes but O Palmeiras uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Landeverde throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Landeverde will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Landeverde scores with the left hand. O Palmeiras knows he should have avoided that one.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Landeverde works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
O Palmeiras has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Landeverde finds it's way round the side to connect with O Palmeiras's head.

O Palmeiras is rocked!
Landeverde looks to score with a jab to the body but O Palmeiras is just out of range.
O Palmeiras throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Landeverde's waist but Landeverde gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing O Palmeiras off to one side.
Ric Landeverde has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nunca Subestime O Palmeiras.

Landeverde drops O Palmeiras with a left right combo! Landeverde follows him down to the ground into side control.
O Palmeiras is still in real trouble! Can Landeverde finish him?
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
You can see the frustration on O Palmeiras's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
O Palmeiras tries to improve position but can't.
Landeverde works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Landeverde cracks O Palmeiras with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Landeverde immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! O Palmeiras is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Landeverde!

A less than humble Ric Landeverde misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
