We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Backstrom shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Haggstrom defends it nicely.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Haggstrom is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Backstrom is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Backstrom flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Haggstrom anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Backstrom and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Haggstrom slips an arm under Backstrom chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Haggstrom has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Haggstrom is squeezing on Backstrom like an anaconda would it's prey. Backstrom fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
