Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Po Panda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jiu Jitsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Panda comes to the cage accompanied by Kung Fu Fighting by Carl Douglas. The crowd seem to be enjoying Jitsu's choice of entrance music: Nikkfurie- The a la Menthe. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

24 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jiu Jitsu!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Panda loads up on a big right hand but Jitsu slips the punch.
Jitsu closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Jitsu is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Panda is just riding it out for now. Jitsu eventually gives up the hold.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Panda is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Panda regains full guard. Nicely done.
Panda is pulling down on Jitsu's head. It's preventing any offense from Jitsu, at least for the moment.

Panda pulls Jitsu in close to his closed guard and prevents Jitsu from doing any damage or advancing position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jiu Jitsu.
Jitsu throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Panda throws a jab but it's blocked by Jitsu.
Panda swings for the body but Jitsu moves out of range.
Jitsu fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Panda avoids it really well and circles away.

Po Panda has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jiu Jitsu.

Panda looks to score with a jab to the body but Jitsu is just out of range.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Panda is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jitsu.
Jitsu gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Panda makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Jitsu fails with the takedown
and Panda counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Jitsu thinking.

Jitsu avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

letting Panda counter with a right hand.
Panda smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Panda misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jitsu.

Jiu Jitsu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jitsu tries for a takedown but Panda circles away easily
and Panda counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

and Panda counters with a beautiful punch that sends Jitsu to the canvas!
Jitsu is still in real trouble! Can Panda finish him?
Panda working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Jitsu's head.
Panda slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

A big shot lands for Panda! That's hurt Jitsu! Will he recover? Panda fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Po Panda!
