Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nisse Indian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simon Browne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Indian comes to the cage accompanied by Down - Lifer. Browne is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bloodsport for all !!. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nisse Indian!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Simon Browne!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Saam Ante and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Indian clinches.
Indian tries to land a knee to the head but Browne blocks with his arms.

Indian is fighting off a takedown attempt but Browne is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Indian to the mat. Indian regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Browne accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Browne throws a big elbow that misses.
Browne stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Indian swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Browne prevents Indian from getting back to his feet.
Browne looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Browne landing with the ground and pound.
Indian is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Indian trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
We've been hearing good reports from Indian's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Browne trying to control the position from guard on top but Indian is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Indian will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Browne lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Browne working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Browne cracks Indian with a solid left hand.
Indian is looking to stand up but Browne isn't so interested in that idea.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Browne postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Browne in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Indian is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Browne is controlling him.
Browne distracts Indian with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Indian wants to stand but Browne is controlling the position.
Indian is looking to stand back up but Browne counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Indian.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Browne seems to be looking for submissions.
Browne prevents Indian from standing back up.

Browne is working for a kimura but Indian is defending it quite comfortably.
Browne passes to full mount!
Indian is trying to stand up.
Browne raining down shots from the mount!


It looks like Nisse Indian has been cut.
Indian squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Browne has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Browne landing strikes from the mount and Indian is in trouble!
Indian takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.


Indian is rocked!
Browne unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Indian wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Browne celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Simon Browne!
Simon Browne decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
