Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jens Pulverisor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Krzysztof Klaczek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jens Pulverisor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Krzysztof Klaczek!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pulverisor fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Klaczek avoids it really well and circles away.
Pulverisor misses with a right hand
and Klaczek counters with a stiff right hand.
Pulverisor falls off balance throwing a combination
and Klaczek counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Klaczek defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Pulverisor.
Some wild striking there from Pulverisor.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Pulverisor is defended easily by Klaczek.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jens Pulverisor. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pulverisor tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Klaczek defends well and Pulverisor ends up having to push Klaczek into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Pulverisor struggles to land a body shot inside as Klaczek controls his hands.

Pulverisor drops down looking for an ankle pick but Klaczek pulls his leg out and moves away.
Pulverisor will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Klaczek stuffs the takedown attempt from Pulverisor. Pulverisor gets slowly back to his feet.
Pulverisor throws a sloppy body shot
and Klaczek counters with a two punch combo.
Klaczek leaves Pulverisor with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Pulverisor is breathing heavily.
Pulverisor dives in for a single leg takedown but Klaczek sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Pulverisor prevents Klaczek from breaking the clinch.

Klaczek has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Pulverisor gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Klaczek wants to improve his position but Pulverisor is controlling well.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Klaczek can do anything to dispel that myth.
Pulverisor drops an elbow to the side of Klaczek's head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Klaczek looks like he's trying to stand up.
Pulverisor seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Pulverisor seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Klaczek does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Pulverisor thows a huge punch but Klaczek dodges it nicely.
Klaczek has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Pulverisor is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Klaczek looks like he's trying to stand up.
Klaczek is looking to improve his position.
Pulverisor throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Pulverisor looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Klaczek with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Klaczek wants to get back to full guard.
Pulverisor working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Klaczek really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pulverisor. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Pulverisor throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Klaczek wants to control but Pulverisor is keeping busy.

Klaczek tries to roll over but Pulverisor keeps him under control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Klaczek wants to get back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pulverisor content to control rather than advance.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Klaczek lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Pulverisor misses with a hook to the body
and Klaczek connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Pulverisor looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Klaczek is fending him off so far but Pulverisor persists. Nope, Klaczek circles away and we're back to standing.
Pulverisor shoots in looking for a takedown. Klaczek tries to sprawl out of it but Pulverisor keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Klaczek manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Pulverisor tries to clinch up but Klaczek circles away and keeps his distance.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Pulverisor.

Klaczek tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Pulverisor wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Klaczek is pushing Pulverisor's head away, looking to escape. Pulverisor manages to hold on to the position though.
Pulverisor throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Pulverisor has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Pulverisor wants to control but Klaczek is keeping him busy.
Klaczek takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Pulverisor connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Klaczek some visible discomfort.

Klaczek is looking to reverse the position.
Jens Pulverisor overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Pulverisor works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Klaczek tries to improve position but can't.

Pulverisor looks up at the clock and then as Klaczek takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Pulverisor smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Klaczek takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Klaczek is still in real trouble! Can Pulverisor finish him?
Pulverisor fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Klaczek seems to have recovered his senses.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Both fighters take a look at the clock.

Pulverisor tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Klaczek swivels and escapes.

Pulverisor bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Pulverisor postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Klaczek is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Klaczek is still trying to improve position.
Pulverisor lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Pulverisor wants to control but Klaczek is keeping him busy.
Pulverisor advances to full mount.

A nice elbow there by Pulverisor.
