Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hyde Load (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Kick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hyde Load is staring across the ring at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Aleksandr Martynov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kick cracks Load with a right hand to the side of the head.
Load fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
No luck for Load with that takedown attempt.
Load misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Load doesn't manage to clinch there - Kick circles away.
Load shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kick pinned against the cage. Kick gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Load feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Load drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kick looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kick looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kick!

That was a close round but I would say that Hyde Load will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Kick has hold of Load's hands but Load slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Kick is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Load is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Kick rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Load moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Mike Kick showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Kick might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
The crowd cheers as Kick lands an impressive looking overhand right. Load doesn't seem phased though.

Kick connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Load momentarily.

Kick throws the left hand but Load avoids the punch easily.
Load shoots in for a double leg but Kick sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Kick connects with a good right hand that stumbles Load. Load circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Load closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
