Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Arlie Wyatt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Howard Wolowitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Wyatt.
Wyatt shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Wolowitz decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Wyatt's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Wolowitz controls from within his opponent's guard.
Wyatt will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Wyatt is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Wolowitz seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Howard Wolowitz was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Wolowitz moves into the clinch.
Wyatt really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Wyatt is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Wolowitz to keep the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arlie Wyatt. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Wyatt is looking to escape.
Wolowitz seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Wyatt is trying to stand up here but Wolowitz is controlling him well.
Wolowitz slips a nice elbow through Wyatt's hands, connecting with Wyatt's forehead.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
