Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Razer Knife!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Disnadda Wongsawat!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Jorge Garcia and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wongsawat looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Knife is fending him off so far but Wongsawat persists. Nope, Knife circles away and we're back to standing.
An inside leg kick lands from Wongsawat.

and Knife counters with a body kick that stops Wongsawat in his tracks momentarily.
Knife fails with a takedown attempt.

Wongsawat should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Knife drops back looking for a leg! Wongsawat is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Wongsawat manages to kick Knife off! Knife jumps back into Wongsawat's guard.

Knife passes Wongsawat's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Wongsawat really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Knife. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Knife is looking for a kimura here.
Knife will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Knife looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Wongsawat is looking for a sweep. Knife is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Knife is keen to just control but Wongsawat is a slippery customer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Knife is trying to work for a kimura but Wongsawat is defending well.
Knife not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Wongsawat wants to get back to full guard.

Knife stands up from half guard.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Wongsawat.

Knife moves out of range of the body kick.

Knife darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Wongsawat keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Knife trying to control from half guard but Wongsawat is working away.

Wongsawat is working to get back to half guard.

Knife has hold of Wongsawat's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Wongsawat manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Wongsawat trying desperately to get to his feet.

Knife jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Wongsawat manages to avoid the submission attempt.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Knife wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Wongsawat, who protects the arm well.
Knife works to advance to full mount. Wongsawat defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Knife moves to take his opponent's back.

Wongsawat is trying to defend against the choke here but Knife has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Knife Tightens the hold and Wongsawat taps out furiously! Knife displays superior BJJ to win the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Razer Knife!
