Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pipe Juana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zoltan Barath (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Juana gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Barath connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Barath closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Juana did well to prevent Barath getting side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Barath with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Juana is trying to control but can't.
Barath stalling.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Zoltan Barath hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Zoltan Barath showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Barath avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Barath misses with a straight left.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Barath crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Juana - the referee stops the clock and Barath gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Juana. Barath manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Barath changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Juana looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Zoltan Barath is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Juana seems a little lost for a moment, as Barath dominates the positioning.
Juana bucks up and tries to throw Barath off but instead Barath has got his back!
Barath controls the action.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
