A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying God's choice of entrance music: justin morgan gin and juice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

With a record of 25 - 8 - 2, fighting out of Hilo, Gully God!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
God throws out a powerful jab.
Arana works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

It looks like Gully God has been cut.
God attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
God throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
God throws a head kick that Arana semi-blocks.
Arana misses with a wild combination.

and Arana cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Arana might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Arana looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
God motions for Arana to come forward. God throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Arana.

Arana cracks God with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Arana has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning God to stand back up!
God is still on wobbly legs! Can Arana finish him?

Gully God is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Unai Arana.
Well God has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
