The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A lazy body kick from Silog
and Bunga counters with a thumping low kick.

Silog darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Silog content to control rather than advance.

Silog working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Bunga is refusing to be controlled, as Silog sits in half guard.
Silog is nestled in close to Bunga, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Silog knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bunga on the ground.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Silog connects with a nice short shot to Bunga's temple.

That has opened up Dale Bunga's cut even more.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Bunga looks like he's trying to stand up.
Bunga is still in real trouble! Can Silog finish him?
Silog is looking to take a break and control but Bunga is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Silog lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Bunga quite badly. Bunga pulls Silog in close trying to recover. Silog postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Bunga on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Bunga doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
