Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
T Jr throws a looping overhand right but Fei ducks down to avoid it.
Fei tries for a takedown but T Jr circles away easily

and T Jr counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
T Jr controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Fei is looking for a triangle but T Jr pushes his legs off easily.

T Jr must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
T Jr wants to control from the top but Fei keeps moving.

Fei had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. T Jr defends it easily.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Tonio T Jr.

T Jr bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

T Jr wants to control but Fei is keeping him busy.
Fei gets back to half guard.
Fei is staying active underneath T Jr, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
T Jr might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Fei haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fei moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

After winning the bout, Zhang Fei thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
