Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tukuru Lemu!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, William Peck and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lemu misses with a few strikes there.

Bunny Anstey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

This has been an exciting period of action!
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Lemu misses with a punch to the body.
We've been informed that Lemu has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Lemu's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Anstey connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Lemu scrambles back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Anstey explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

Anstey fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Lemu to the ground. Anstey is now in Lemu's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Anstey seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Anstey passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Anstey lands a nice forearm strike.

Anstey connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Lemu some visible discomfort.
Anstey grinds an elbow into Lemu's temple.

Anstey wants to control but Lemu is keeping him busy.

Lemu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Anstey. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Anstey can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Lemu is looking to escape.
Anstey lands with some strikes.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lemu can do anything to dispel that myth.

Anstey looking to finish Lemu with some ground and pound. This is bad for Lemu!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Anstey prevents Lemu from getting the reversal.

Anstey is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Lemu can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Lemu seems to have recovered his senses.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Anstey is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Lemu wants to clinch up but Anstey keeps it at a distance.

and Anstey counters with a single leg into guard. Lemu didn't expect that.
Anstey working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Lemu's head.
Anstey pushes down on Lemu's leg and manages to get into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Anstey is nestled in close to Lemu, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Anstey lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Lemu keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Anstey here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Lemu wants to get back to full guard.
Anstey takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Anstey's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Lemu is looking to improve his position.
Anstey passes into side control, despite Lemu's attempt to control the position.
A lull in the action here as Anstey stalls from top position.

Lemu looking for a sweep but Anstey has passed into full mount! Oh no!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Anstey wants to control the pace but Lemu is squirming around nicely.
Anstey tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Anstey can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Lemu is looking to escape.
Lemu is bucking up trying to escape but Anstey cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Lemu is breathing heavily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Whack. That's a big, big shot from Anstey! Lemu is out cold! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Bunny Anstey!

Bunny Anstey decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
