The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Leepen shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Talentti's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Leepen decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Talentti, up you get!

Leepen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
We've been hearing good reports from Leepen's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Leepen trying to control but Talentti is working from the bottom.

Leepen throws a strike but Talentti rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Leepen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Talentti has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Leepen has managed to get both his arms back between Talentti's legs - danger averted.

Talentti has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Leepen doesn't defend quickly enough and Talentti has managed to lock this one up! Can Leepen escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Talentti on a fantastic submission victory.
