Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leo Vieira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guillermo Espada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Espada is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Greedy Fly. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 25 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Leo Vieira!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Guillermo Espada!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Roger Salmon and Ryoma Takatsuka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vieira shoots in looking for a takedown. Espada tries to sprawl out of it but Vieira keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Espada manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Vieira on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Vieira definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Espada throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Vieira stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Vieira takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Espada throws out a loose jab but Vieira uses good head movement to avoid it.

Espada lands a really nice looking cross but Vieira seems unphased.

Espada throws an overhand right that lands on Vieira's shoulder, as Vieira tries to avoid the shot.
Oh Vieira is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Guillermo Espada seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Espada throws a shot from downtown. Vieira moves away and avoids it.

Espada is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Vieira.
Vieira uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Espada.

Espada has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Vieira is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Vieira seems to have got his legs back now.
Espada cracks Vieira with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Vieira tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Espada pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Vieira is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
