Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Derek Juarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Take Down (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Derek Juarez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Take Down! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Down throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Juarez tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Down is in Juarez's guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Juarez keeping moving, preventing Down from controlling successfully. Juarez is trying to keep Down in close.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Down looking to sit in guard and control but Juarez gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Juarez in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Juarez preventing the sweep. Juarez might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Juarez loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Down working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Juarez. Down pulls Juarez in close to prevent any damage.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Take Down was stalling too much, according to the referee. Juarez looks to clinch and Down counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Juarez's guard now. Juarez being controlled here, momentarily. Down wants to control from the top but Juarez keeps moving. Down stopping the sweep attempt from Juarez.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Down trying to control the position from guard on top but Juarez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Juarez trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Down must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Down looking to sit in guard and control but Juarez gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Down preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Take Down. Juarez looks to clinch and Down counters with a nice double leg into guard. Juarez trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Down really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Juarez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Juarez trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Down stopping the sweep attempt from Juarez. Down trying to control but Juarez is working from the bottom. Down looking to sit in guard and control but Juarez gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Juarez throwing strikes from guard but Down blocks nicely. Juarez could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Down looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Juarez postures up in Down's guard and throws a big left but Down blocks it. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Down can do anything to dispel that myth. Down looking to control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Take Down. Down avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Down shoots in and gets a takedown into Juarez's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Take Down dominated that round. That's time! Juarez's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Juarez misses with an uppercut. Down looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Down is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Down trying to control but Juarez is working from the bottom.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Take Down. Juarez looks to clinch so Down counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Down trying to control the position from guard on top but Juarez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Down postures up.
Juarez lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Juarez trying to control but Down is working from the bottom. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Derek Juarez wasn't doing enough on the ground. Down fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Down fails to land the takedown. Derek Juarez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Juarez shoots in for a takedown but Down shows good takedown defense. Juarez tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Down manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Down shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Juarez counters with a head kick. That will keep Down thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Derek Juarez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Take Down. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Juarez thuds his right hand into Down's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Juarez closes this distance looking for a takedown but Down circles away. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Down shoots in for a takedown but Juarez shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. No luck for Down with that takedown attempt. Down closes the distance and clinches up with Juarez, looking for a takedown. Down pushes Juarez against the cage but Juarez circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Juarez goes for a double leg but Down avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Down continues to drive forward. Juarez drags the fight down to the ground.
Down trying to control but Juarez is working from the bottom. Juarez manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Juarez with a couple of short strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Down is looking to get to half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Take Down will probably get the nod - 10:9. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Juarez tries to close the distance and clinch up but Down swats him away and circles back towards the center. Down tries to score a power double leg takedown but Juarez sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Down somewhat. Juarez doesn't manage to clinch there - Down circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Juarez tries to clinch but fails miserably and Down counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Down. Juarez looking for a sweep. Not yet Juarez, not yet. Juarez doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Juarez shoots and misses and Down counters with a shoot takedown. Juarez fights it but they end up in guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Juarez looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Juarez keeping moving, preventing Down from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Juarez throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Down trying to control the position from guard on top but Juarez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Juarez bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Down's guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Down trying to keep a closed guard but Juarez is proving a slippery customer.
We're going to have a standup here because Derek Juarez wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Down shoots in and gets a takedown into Juarez's guard. Juarez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Down trying to control the position from guard on top but Juarez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Juarez is trying to control the position but Down postures up. Down controlling from the top position. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Down wants to control from the top but Juarez keeps moving.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Take Down was stalling too much, according to the referee. Down shoots in but no luck this time. Derek Juarez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Take Down.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Down slaps away a takedown attempt from Juarez, before circling back to the center of the mat. Down feints and as Juarez raises his hands in defense, Down changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Juarez thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Down trying to control the position from guard on top but Juarez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Juarez wants to sweep here but Down controlling him for the moment.
And that's the end of the fight! Take Down comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Down winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
