Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Johnny Mcclure!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Carlos Inman!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mcclure gets a clinch.
Mcclure tries to stall but Inman uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Inman is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Inman breaks the clinch.
Mcclure tries to clinch

and Inman holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Inman pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Mcclure gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Mcclure is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Inman is aware though and is defending well.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Inman enables Mcclure to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Inman manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Mcclure throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Inman works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Mcclure drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Inman dives on top into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Mcclure is trying to drag Inman to the mat but Inman just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Mcclure drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Inman unloads a knee to the mid-section. Mcclure lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Mcclure is trying to pull guard but Inman has him pressed against the cage.

Inman escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Inman pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Mcclure tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Inman counters with a head kick. That will keep Mcclure thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Mcclure closes the distance but Inman moves to the side
and Inman counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

A close second round but Carlos Inman will probably get the nod - 10:9.

Johnny Mcclure has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Carlos Inman is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Mcclure is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
