Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gus Rusalo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Red Flash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rusalo misses the shot to the body.
Rusalo misses with a straight left.
Rusalo throws a body kick, spinning off balance

and Flash counters by moving into the clinch.

Flash jumps guard and drags Rusalo to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Rusalo wants to pass the guard but Flash is keeping the position.
Flash is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Rusalo is controlling him.
Rusalo trying to control but Flash is working from the bottom.

Rusalo is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Flash is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Flash has escaped and now he's on top!
Flash is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Flash stands up from Rusalo's guard - Flash perhaps looking for a knockout.
Rusalo throws a hook but Flash blocks it.
A slow jab from Rusalo misses its intended target.
Flash bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Rusalo looks to score with a jab to the body but Flash is just out of range.
Flash lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rusalo circles away quickly and effectively.
Rusalo throws a right hand that Flash ducks under and follows up with a left that Flash also avoids with ease.
Flash uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Rusalo.

Flash is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Rusalo's half guard.
Rusalo is trying to stand up here but Flash is controlling him well.
Flash wants to pass the guard but Rusalo is defending well.
Rusalo pushes Flash off looking to stand but Flash dives back in and keeps control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Rusalo has had enough of the clinch but Flash keeps him there for the moment.

Flash is trying to pull guard but Rusalo turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rusalo is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Flash asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Flash looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Rusalo is avoiding damage well.

Flash wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Rusalo, who protects the arm well.
Rusalo tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Flash sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rusalo gets tackled into the cage by Flash . Flash maintains the clinch.
Rusalo has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Flash is trying to trip Rusalo. He has hold of a leg but Rusalo is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Flash persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Rusalo parries the strikes from Flash easily there. Flash is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Rusalo to escape.

Rusalo is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Flash rolls with it to try and escape but Rusalo cranks on the arm and Flash is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
