A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hasanov accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Miyaichi lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Hasanov wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Miyaichi throws the left hand but Hasanov avoids the punch easily.
Hasanov shoots in looking for a takedown. Miyaichi tries to sprawl out of it but Hasanov keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Miyaichi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hasanov has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Miyaichi has hold of Hasanov's hands but Hasanov slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Hasanov seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Miyaichi does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Hasanov has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Miyaichi defend it? Hasanov steps over the head and cranks it - Miyaichi is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Hasanov!
