Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Vegata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jed Masilungan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Masilungan's choice of entrance music: Return to Strength. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

and Vegata connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Masilungan takes a swing at Vegata's ribcage but misses.

Masilungan shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Vegata is trying to defend but Masilungan finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
