Kidane comes to the cage accompanied by Buraka Som Sistema - Kalemba (wegue wegue). Kinfe Kidane has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cole lands with a thumping leg kick.
Kidane takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Kidane blocks the body kick.
Cole looks for the body kick but Kidane saw that one coming.
Kidane checks a leg kick nicely.
Cole swats away the attempt to clinch by Kidane.
Cole avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kidane on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Cole throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Kidane.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cole throws a nice outside leg kick.
Cole misses with a jab to the body
and Kidane counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Good standup being displayed there by Cole as he connects with a hook.
Kidane stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Cole.
We've been informed that Cole has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Cole gets tackled into the cage by Kidane. Kidane maintains the clinch.
Kidane prevents a body shot from Cole.
Kidane misses with a knee to the head.

Cole breaks from the clinch.
Cole fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kidane.
Cole scores with the left hand. Kidane knows he should have avoided that one.
We've been told by Kidane's head coaches at ~T~ Troid - Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Kidane tries to clinch up
and Cole counters with a flying knee that drops Kidane! Cole dives in and finishes the fight with a flurry of strikes from the mount!
