Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Fakhri El Hashem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bubba Kush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). El Hashem kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Kassaman. Fakhri El Hashem has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Patrick Alders and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
El Hashem throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kush.
El Hashem misses with a series of wild punches.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kush has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
El Hashem tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kush was well out of range. Poor timing from El Hashem.

Kush is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
El Hashem lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Fakhri El Hashem is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
El Hashem defending well as Kush loads up on a big left hand.

Kush closes this distance looking for a takedown but El Hashem circles away.
El Hashem misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
El Hashem looks to land a combination but Kush avoids it well.
El Hashem drops Kush with a beautiful combination! Kush stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - El Hashem is looking for the KO!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kush shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. El Hashem manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kush postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Kush stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. El Hashem swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Kush loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Kush is in close to El Hashem's body, working some short punches and elbows.
El Hashem keeping moving, preventing Kush from controlling successfully.
Kush postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
El Hashem wants to stand and escape but Kush is having none of it.
Kush in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Kush throws a strike but El Hashem rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Kush is looking to cinch up a triangle. El Hashem throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Kush's body to avoid the submission. Kush has instead reached around El Hashem's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Kush arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
