Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Boston Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glen Quagmire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Boston Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Glen Quagmire!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones shoots in but no luck this time.
Quagmire lands with a kick to the temple. Jones shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
A lazy left from Quagmire finds it's target.
Quagmire throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Jones on the side of the head.
Quagmire looks to clinch

and Jones decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Quagmire's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jones lands a couple of digs.
Jones wants to control from the top but Quagmire keeps moving.
Quagmire has control of Jones's left arm, preventing Jones from doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jones's corner is telling him to maintain position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jones accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Quagmire is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Jones wants the takedown. Quagmire is fighting it off but Jones persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Quagmire's guard against the cage.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Quagmire is on top in guard.

Quagmire really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Glen Quagmire wasn't active enough on the ground.
Quagmire fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Jones.
Quagmire tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Jones manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Glen Quagmire seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Quagmire has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. So far he's outscoring his opponent in the clinch so it seems to have been worthwhile.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Glen Quagmire.
Jones changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Quagmire tries to avoid it but Jones manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Quagmire to the ground. Quagmire escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Jones has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Quagmire is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Jones cracks Quagmire with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Jones tries to move into range but Quagmire moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Quagmire, as that shot connected.

Jones jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Quagmire walks away with a smile on his face. Jones gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Quagmire works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Quagmire sizes up Jones with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Oh Jones is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Quagmire lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Quagmire rushes Jones and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Quagmire jerks Jones's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Jones drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Quagmire goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Quagmire because Jones was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
