The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mcclure drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Charlemagne Van Leur hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Van Leur connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

That was a close second round but I would say that Johnny Mcclure will probably get the nod.

Van Leur takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
