Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gregory Howe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and PJ Shaughnessy McMahon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Gregory Howe.

Shaughnessy McMahon fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Howe sprawls well initially but Shaughnessy McMahon persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Shaughnessy McMahon seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Howe really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

PJ Shaughnessy McMahon decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
