Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Der Debil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ace Quinton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Debil's entrance music is Bulimic. A fine choice. Der Debil has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Ryoma Takatsuka and Jeff Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quinton throws a right hand that Debil ducks under and follows up with a left that Debil also avoids with ease.

Debil closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Debil is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Quinton has escaped the position, nice work there.

Debil thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Quinton is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Debil has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Quinton looks winded!
Quinton avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Debil.
Debil throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Debil creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Quinton sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Debil tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Debil has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Quinton is pushing Debil's head away, looking to escape. Debil manages to hold on to the position though.

Quinton is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Debil tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Debil has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Quinton is looking to reverse the position.

Quinton is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Debil asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Debil lands a few punches from side control.

Debil is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Quinton knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Debil connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Quinton some visible discomfort.

Debil goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Quinton has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Debil but great work by Quinton.
Quinton content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Debil bucks up and tries to throw Quinton off but instead Quinton has got his back!

Debil is trying to get back to his feet but Quinton has full control of the position and if anything, Debil has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Quinton really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Debil.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Der Debil dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

A jab from Quinton does it's job there.
Debil dives in and grabs Quinton's left leg, looking for a takedown. Quinton pushes down on Debil's head and hops out.
Debil tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Quinton paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Debil takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Quinton doesn't manage to clinch there - Debil circles away.
We've been told by Debil's head coaches at Cozad MMA Hilo that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Debil fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Quinton avoids it really well and circles away.
Debil misses with a takedown attempt - Quinton sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Der Debil. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Quinton throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Debil.
Quinton is breathing heavily.

Debil darts in looking for a takedown but Quinton gets double underhooks and turns Debil into the cage.

Quinton struggles to land a body shot inside as Debil controls his hands.

It looks like Der Debil has been cut.

Quinton tries to land a knee to the head but Debil blocks with his arms.
Quinton throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
A short body shot lands from Quinton as the two fighters clinch.

Quinton breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Debil darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Debil is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Quinton is just riding it out for now. Debil eventually gives up the hold.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Ace Quinton showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Debil changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Quinton tries to avoid it but Debil manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Quinton to the ground. Quinton escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Quinton moves into range and connects with a jab.

Quinton pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
No luck for Debil with that takedown attempt.

Quinton throws a right and a left that Debil avoids nicely.

Debil closes the distance and pushes Quinton back into the cage.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Debil jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Quinton walks away with a smile on his face. Debil gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Der Debil is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Debil closes the distance and pushes Quinton back into the cage.

Quinton's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Debil fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Quinton bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Debil dives in and grabs Quinton's left leg, looking for a takedown. Quinton pushes down on Debil's head and hops out.

Der Debil seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Debil swats away the attempt to clinch by Quinton.
Quinton has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Debil takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Quinton gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Debil to score an easy takedown into full guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Debil accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Der Debil overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Debil throws a big elbow that misses.

Debil thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Debil is fighting to break Quinton's control of his arms but Quinton is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Quinton is pulling down on Debil's head. It's preventing any offense from Debil, at least for the moment.

Debil is looking to work some ground and pound but Quinton has wrist control.

Debil drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Quinton dives on top into guard.
Quinton slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Debil has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Ace Quinton wasn't active enough on the ground.
Quinton throws a combination. Debil tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Debil shoots in for a double leg but Quinton sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
The fight stays on the outside here - Quinton looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Ace Quinton comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.

A very excited looking Ace Quinton made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
Der Debil spoke after the fight, saying 'i did what i can, i have lost this fight but i will learn more and be a better fighter in the future!'.
